We recently had the opportunity to work on a beautiful shower tile project for a client which included several steps.
The first step was our prep, where we framed 2 shampoo boxes. One box was roughly 12 inches by 5 feet across. The other box was approximately 12 inches by 10 inches. We then framed and installed the threshold and hardie backer board for the walls.
The second step was installation in which we fixed 1 x 2 porcelain tial in a vertically offset pattern. We then installed Schlutter metal trim for both shampoo boxes and the vertical interior entry of the shower.
The last step, we finished by installing the shower floor tile and drain. We then applied grout to all walls and floors.
